We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with an emphasis on precision and quality. As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for welding various materials, primarily focusing on stainless steel and aluminium components. Responsibilities Welding different material types and thicknesses ranging from, 1mm – 10mm aluminium 1mm – 3mm stainless steel Welding mild steel jobs ranging from 1mm – 20mm Free hand as well as using jigs and fixtures Working from engineering drawingsExperience Proven experience in welding, particularly with Tig welding techniques. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or workshop environment.Hours of Operation Working 2 shifts rotating on a weekly basis (days and lates)
