We are excited to be working with specialist schools and alternative provisions in Newcastle that are looking for committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
THE ROLE:
- Support students with SEND, including those with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health), and other learning needs.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
- Full-time and part-time roles available with immediate and September 2025 starts.
- Competitive weekly rate starting from £415+.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEND (in school or care settings).
- Possesses (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS placed on the update service.
- Demonstrates patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
