We're currently seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Teacher to join a specialist provision in Newcastle that supports children and young people with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

The Role:

  • Deliver tailored lessons that meet a range of learning needs
  • Support students on EHCPs in both academic and emotional development
  • Adapt resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEND team
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and supported

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS or QTLS (Essential)
  • Experience working with SEND pupils, either in a mainstream or specialist setting
  • Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for SEND
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A calm, nurturing, and patient approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
