Job description Our manufacturing client is actively seeking an experienced production operative to mix and bag powdered batches. Responsibilities include: Working from batch sheets on an excel spreadsheet Loading filling machines with bags of powder with bags ranging from 2-25Kg Operating semi-automatic filling and packing machine Carrying out quality control tests to set methods Labelling batches before storing in the warehouse for dispatch Cleaning machines and warehouse Manually lifting bags up to 25kg Following standard operating proceduresCandidates should have the following skills and experiences: Have previous experience within a manufacturing environment Competent and confident in using production machinery and equipment Happy with manually lifting batches Proven ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines to meet customer expectations Committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of co-workers and the environment IT literate using all Microsoft Excel Current counterbalance Fork Truck License is advantageous but not essential Happy to work in dusty environment (full PPE including masks will be provided)Hours of operation: 3 months of training. Alternative weeks of days and nights. Days Shift – starts as early as 06:00 Monday to Thursday Night Shift – is 19:00 – 07:00 Monday to Wednesday This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate
