Our client are currently recruiting for Metal Worker / Welder who specialise in providing bespoke engineering solutions, from design to manufacture and installation based in Washington. Experience of MIG and TIG welding would be desirable. Job Specifications * Check all materials, profiles and items of equipment are correct to the drawings/specifications prior to commencing work. * Mark out, cut, shear, form, drill, bend, and prep required items prior to assembly. * Assembly by welding Mig and Tig, riveting or bolting. * Dress and finish in accordance with customer requirements, removing all burrs. * Fully inspect own work, recording all inspection data by ticking all dimensions, notes, and instructions on the drawing prior to handing over to the manager or his deputy for final inspection. * If required by the customer to visit site to install jobs You must adhere to all customer site requirements ensuring company risk assessments, method statements and customer on site safety requirements are strictly adhered to. All sites must be left clean and tidy. * Work in a safe and respectful manner ensuring all Company Procedures, Policy's, and Health and Safety requirements are adhered too. * Keep working area clean and tidy and free from obstructions and trip hazards. * Carry out work within the allocated time frame and on budget. Person Specification * Time served sheet metal worker * MIG and TIG experience * Able to read engineering drawings This is a full-time temp to perm position working Monday to Thursday 07.45 - 16.30 and Friday 07:45 - 13.00
