Education World is a recruitment business dedicated to connecting educators with schools across North East England. We are looking for staff to fill temporary and permanent vacancies for the final term of academic year 2025/2026 and the upcoming 2026/2027 term.

Location: North East England

Pay: £90 - £269 per day (depending on role and experience)

Roles Available:

  • Qualified Teachers (all subjects & key stages)
  • Teaching Assistants (TA)
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA)
  • Cover Supervisors
  • SEN Support Workers

Pay Rates:

  • Support Staff: £90 - £150 per day
  • Teachers: £140 - £269 per day

Rates are dependent on experience, role responsibilities, and length of placement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passion for working with young people
  • Strong classroom presence and communication skills
  • Flexible and reliable approach
  • Relevant experience in schools (preferred but not always essential for some roles)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for teaching roles
  • Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent) for TA roles
