We are currently seeking a committed and inspiring Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Bradford from September 2025. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, you’ll join a supportive department with the resources and leadership to help you thrive.

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous Science lessons across Key Stages 3–5.
  • Encourage inquiry, experimentation, and scientific thinking in all students.
  • Use data and assessment to drive progress and tailor learning.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, assessment strategies, and curriculum development.
  • Support extracurricular opportunities such as science clubs, competitions, or trips.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related field)
  • Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach at least one science to GCSE level
  • A passion for science education and helping students succeed
  • Ability to teach a science subject at A-level
  • Experience teaching in UK state schools
  • Willingness to lead STEM activities or school science initiatives
