An alternative education provider in Sunderland is seeking a motivated individual for a part‑time role supporting children with behavioural needs. The role requires a commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing, as well as the ability to implement tailored educational programmes. Hours are Monday‑Friday from 12 pm to 3 pm, with the potential for additional hours. This is a temp‑to‑perm role for the right candidate.

The selected candidate will work with a child with behavioural difficulties, alongside another member of staff, facilitating access to enrichment activities and other learning opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Experience of supporting challenging behaviour
  • A willingness to commit to a part‑time permanent position
