The Role: Education World are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Nurse / Practitioner to join a welcoming Early Years setting in the S7 area of Sheffield. This role involves supporting children aged 0–5, helping to create a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment that promotes learning and development through play.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A warm, patient and child‑centred approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (preferable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with daily routines, learning opportunities and play‑based activities
- Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Observing and recording children’s development
- Assisting with planning, setting up and tidying learning areas
- Promoting safeguarding and well‑being at all times
