Education World is recruiting on behalf of a warm, nurturing, and well-established nursery for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join their leadership team on a permanent basis. The Role
The successful candidate will support the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are consistently maintained. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of the nursery
- Supporting, mentoring, and supervising nursery staff
- Ensuring compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
- Supporting staff development, training, and performance management
- Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Leading by example in delivering outstanding childcare and education
- Assisting with occupancy, administration, and operational procedures
