Business Studies Teacher – Secondary School (Full Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school on the outskirts of Northumberland on a full-time basis until the end of the summer term. This role is starting ASAP and offers an excellent opportunity to teach Business in a supportive and well-established school environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Business Studies lessons, supporting pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

The Role

• Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and wider school staff
• Fulfil full-time teaching hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective communication skills
• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
• Be available to start immediately and commit until the end of the summer term
