We are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive school in Durham that is on the lookout for a Level 3 qualified SEND Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.

Your Role Will Include

  • Supporting students with a range of SEND (such as Autism, ADHD, and SEMH)
  • Assisting in the delivery of EHCP objectives and tailored support plans
  • Developing positive, trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
  • Celebrating small victories that lead to long-term progress

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with SEND pupils, ideally within a school environment
  • A calm, compassionate attitude and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication skills, resilience, and a good sense of humour
