Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for their development. This role requires effective management and leadership abilities, as well as experience in early childhood education. The Nursery Nurse will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and learning of children in our care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records of children\βs progress and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the management team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised nursery environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
- Assist in the supervision of students or volunteers within the nursery setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A L3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and parents effectively.
- A genuine love for working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
