Join to apply for the L2/3 SEN TA role at Education World Ltd.
Education World are looking for SEND support staff across Hartlepool on both short term and long term basis to work within an SEN School, starting September 2025. As part of an SEND support team you will work directly with children with additional needs creating a supportive atmosphere for them to develop and grow effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with students 1:1 as well as in small groups.
- Support students to overcome any barriers to learning.
- Help students understand instructions/work under supervision of the class teacher.
- Collaborate with the SENDCo to ensure each student is having their needs met in line with Education Health Care plans (EHC) and/or Individual Learning Plans (ILP).
- Manage challenging pupil behaviour as required.
Qualifications And Experience
- Relevant experience working with additional needs (could be lived-in experience).
- Proven ability to be resourceful when needed.
- A true commitment to student development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
This position will start as a temporary ongoing role but has the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.
