We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gateshead. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.

  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and varying abilities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
