We are seeking a MIG Welder/Fabricator, the ideal candidates will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with an emphasis on precision and quality. As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating various materials, primarily focusing on stainless steel and aluminium components.
Responsibilities
- Welding and fabricating different material types and thicknesses ranging from 1mm – 10mm aluminium & 1mm – 3mm stainless steel
- Welding mild steel jobs ranging from 1mm – 20mm
- Free hand as well as using jigs and fixtures
- Working from engineering drawings
Experience
- Proven experience in welding and fabricating, particularly with MIG welding techniques.
- Experience of welding aluminium is essential
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
Hours of Operation
- Working 2 shifts rotating on a weekly basis (days and lates)
