We are seeking a MIG Welder/Fabricator, the ideal candidates will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with an emphasis on precision and quality. As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating various materials, primarily focusing on stainless steel and aluminium components.

Responsibilities

  • Welding and fabricating different material types and thicknesses ranging from 1mm – 10mm aluminium & 1mm – 3mm stainless steel
  • Welding mild steel jobs ranging from 1mm – 20mm
  • Free hand as well as using jigs and fixtures
  • Working from engineering drawings

Experience

  • Proven experience in welding and fabricating, particularly with MIG welding techniques.
  • Experience of welding aluminium is essential
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or workshop environment.

Hours of Operation

Working 2 shifts rotating on a weekly basis (days and lates).
