Education World is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking nursery group for an experienced and inspirational Executive Head of Nursery to lead and oversee the strategic and operational management of their early years provision. The Role

  • Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across nursery settings
  • Driving outstanding standards in teaching, learning, safeguarding, and care
  • Leading and developing Nursery Managers and senior leadership teams
  • Monitoring and improving quality assurance, policies, and procedures
  • Ensuring full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting recruitment, staff retention, and workforce development
  • Managing budgets, occupancy targets, and overall nursery performance
  • Building strong relationships with parents, external agencies, and stakeholders
  • Leading on inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture across all settings

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Have significant leadership experience within early years or nursery settings
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
  • Have experience managing multiple teams or settings
  • Possess excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional early years education and care
  • Have the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams effectively
  • Be commercially aware with strong operational management experience
