We are seeking two experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gateshead. Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support as a Teaching Assistant for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Support pupils in accessing learning activities across the primary curriculum.
- Implement effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement and emotional wellbeing.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support plans.
