We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed practitioner to take on a Year 3 Teacher role covering a maternity leave from September 2026 through to July 2027.
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children are encouraged to thrive, build confidence, and develop a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons as a Year 3 Teacher in line with the national curriculum.
- Support pupils’ progress through effective assessment, feedback, and adaptive teaching strategies.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Ensure all pupils, including those with SEND, are supported through differentiation and tailored approaches.

- A valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
