The Role

  • Teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons that inspire a love of languages.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
  • Support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities that promote language learning and cultural awareness.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and high expectations for student achievement.
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where all learners can thrive.
