As a School Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals within a busy school kitchen, ensuring all food is produced to a high standard and meets dietary and hygiene requirements. Monday to Friday: 10:00 – 13:45 (Part-Time)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals as a School Cook in line with school menu requirements.
- Ensure food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in accordance with food safety standards.
- Manage food preparation, portion control, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, following health and safety procedures.
- Support stock control, ordering, and food storage management.
- Cater for dietary requirements and allergies where required.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and school staff to ensure smooth meal service.
