  • Support children's communication, language, literacy, and early numeracy development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Assist with daily routines, including meal times, personal care, and transitions throughout the day.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures, health and safety requirements, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards of care and education.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A relevant Early Years qualification – desirable.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications may be considered, subject to nursery requirements and staffing ratios.
  • Experience working with children within an early years or childcare setting.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A good understanding of child development and early years practice.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

This role would suit a passionate Nursery Practitioner who enjoys working with young children and is committed to helping them develop the skills, confidence, and foundations they need for future success.
