We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gateshead. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and wider school staff to support pupils across the primary curriculum, helping to create a structured, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Support teaching and learning as a Primary Teaching Assistant, working with individuals and small groups across the primary age range.
- Assist pupils with classroom activities, helping to build confidence, understanding, and independence.
- Work closely with the class teacher to support lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Provide targeted support to pupils who may need additional help with their learning.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
