We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Early Years team in Enfield. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education, supporting children’s development, and building strong relationships with families and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and activities as an EYFS Teacher, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
- Observe, assess, and monitor children’s progress, using assessment to inform future planning and support.
- Support children in developing communication, language, and early numeracy skills through play-based learning.
- Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils within the early years setting.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to support children’s learning and wellbeing.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and development.
- Promote positive behaviour and help children develop independence, confidence, and curiosity.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements are always followed.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- The ability to create engaging learning experiences through play and exploration.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
