We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in North London. The successful KS2 Teacher will join the school on a fixed-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027, with the potential for the role to become permanent thereafter. As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment effectively to inform planning and next steps.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and varying abilities.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement within the classroom.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team to contribute to school life and ongoing improvement.
- Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before September 2026. ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
