An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Manager to join our Estates team reporting to our Head of Estates. The Estates team work across all of our sites to ensure safe, comfortable and operational environments. The ability to travel to all sites within the group is essential to develop knowledge of the group and the ETC estate.
As a Health and Safety Manager with Etc., you will be responsible for Health and Safety delivery across the ETC estate. Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting and embedding a proactive safety culture through positive engagement on site.
- Providing advice, support and guidance on all aspects of HSEQ planning and operations to ensure compliance and standards are maintained.
- Promoting and delivering procedural changes to align with good, safe working practices.
- Enforcing changes to working practices ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Implementing regimes to update Health and Safety Policies and Assessments.
- Developing internal procedures in line with ETC Health and Safety Policies.
- Advising on a range of specialist areas such as Fire, Hazardous Substances, Water, Noise, Hydrogen and Radiation.
- Leading investigations using appropriate Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental permits, standards, statutory guidance and consents relevant to sites.
