Overview of the Lecturer in Makeup Artistry role reporting to the Service Industries Curriculum Manager at Redcar and Cleveland College.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver practical and theory lessons that align with curriculum requirements and awarding body standards.
  • Support learners throughout their studies by helping them overcome learning barriers, develop new skills, set targets and monitor progress to ensure achievement of qualification outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the Makeup Artistry industry (required).
  • Teaching and/or assessment experience desirable.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, with strong IT and problem-solving skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, motivation, and the ability to inspire others.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
