An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our Health Education and Foundation Learning team reporting to our Curriculum Manager. The successful applicant must be able to deliver a range of health and care subjects across a wide range of levels within the FE sector. Experience of working within a clinical background would also be essential as lecturers and practical skills and physiological measurements sessions are essential to learners development within health and care. It would also be an advantage to be able to teach human biology related subjects at level 3. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced growing department.
As a Health and Social Care Lecturer with Stockton Riverside College, you will be responsible for working with cohorts of learners throughout the academic year. You will be responsible for delivery high quality teaching and learning, setting high expectations and providing support to enable learners to succeed. A dynamic flexible individual is required with clinical and social care experience to be able to educate and train learners in a range of practical based skills as well as academic knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for engaging and motivating our students. An ability to manage your time and resources efficiently and be able to work in a successful established team. The team\’s purpose is to equip our students with the skills, knowledge and attributes required to navigate the challenges and opportunities in learning, life and work.
