An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Estates and Health & Safety to join our Estates team, reporting to our Chief Operations Officer. The post of Head of Estates and Health & Safety is a key group management post, providing leadership to enable high quality services across the whole group. You will need to have the drive and motivation to shape our Estates strategy while systematically overseeing the operation of the college estate.
The Head of Estates and Health & Safety is responsible for ensuring the Education Training Collective delivers legally compliant, safe, and well‑managed environments across all campuses, enabling high‑quality teaching, learning, and working. This role combines strategic responsibility with hands‑on operational oversight across estates, facilities, health and safety, site services, catering, and cleaning. The postholder ensures the estate is secure, sustainable, inclusive and fully aligned to the needs of students, staff, and communities.
By embedding performance standards, managing risk, and driving service improvement, this role is critical to the day‑to‑day experience of learners and staff, and to the wider credibility of the Group as a modern, responsive education provider. The ideal candidate will be flexible, an excellent communicator and have the ability to work under pressure.
