We are looking for a proactive and reliable Facilities & Stores Technician to join our Estates team. This role plays a key part in ensuring our buildings, facilities, and stores operations run smoothly across all of our sites. As part of the central Estates team, you will provide hands‑on support across the organisation, carrying out facilities maintenance tasks, managing stores and stock, and responding to day‑to‑day operational needs. The role covers multiple sites, so regular travel is an essential requirement.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and confident communication abilities. They will be willing to learn, develop, and adapt within a varied operational role. Experience in facilities services or safety systems is desirable. Candidates with knowledge and experience in hard services facilities, along with an understanding of health and safety, will be well suited to this role. Full systems training will be provided.
The position also involves carrying out basic preventative maintenance tasks and taking responsibility for Stores operations and goods‑inwards processes. We can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work and develop within a supportive and motivated team committed to continuous improvement.
Schedule: The Group operates Monday to Friday, and this role is worked on a shift rota basis to ensure Estates cover across all sites. The Facilities & Stores Technician may be required to work a mixture of early morning and evening shifts, with occasional weekend working to support operational and service needs. Shift patterns will be planned in advance as part of a team rota. Flexibility is essential for this role, as working hours may vary to meet the requirements of the Group.
