Position Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an English lecturer to join our English, Maths, Creative and Digital team reporting to the Curriculum Manager for English and maths. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled lecturer to join a high performing curriculum team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programmes, ensuring that lessons are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
- Plan and deliver effective lessons, assess learners’ progress through examinations and continuous assessment, and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and progression.
- Contribute to the wider work of the department through participation in curriculum development, team meetings, and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in a related field.
- Certificate in Education/PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).
- Experience delivering English in either secondary or Further education.
