About the Role
This is more than a support role, it’s a chance to step into education, inspire learners and develop your teaching practice in a dynamic and supportive environment.
We are seeking a Digital Learning Coach to join our Learning Resource Centre team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging group and some 1:1 sessions that develop learners’ digital, study and employability skills.
- Support learners to overcome barriers, build confidence and take ownership of their learning.
- Create and share innovative, accessible digital learning resources used across the college.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams and staff to enhance teaching and learning through digital support and training.
- Champion the Learning Resource Centre, contributing to a welcoming, well promoted learning environment through events, activities and displays.
You will play a visible, impactful role in learners’ daily lives, building confidence, independence and digital fluency that prepares them for further study, work and life beyond college.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about education, confident in their digital skills and communication, and motivated by supporting young people to succeed. You’ll bring energy, a positive mindset and a collaborative approach, alongside a strong commitment to Equality, Diversity, Safeguarding and student wellbeing.
A teaching or teaching assistant qualification or a desire to work towards one is welcome but not essential. This role is an excellent stepping stone into teaching or educational leadership.
