About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head of Management Information Systems to join our team reporting to our Head of Management Information and Examination Services. You’ll join a forward‑thinking and collaborative department committed to delivering high‑quality services that enable excellent outcomes across the organisation.
As Deputy Head of Management Information Services you will:
- Provide effective and efficient leadership of the Group’s Management Information Services
- Ensure all learner data, funding, performance, and achievement information is timely, reliable, and compliant with statutory and funding agency requirements
- Ensure robust data integrity and audit compliance
- Deliver systems that enhance decision‑making, support accountability and are easily accessible and usable
- Provide insightful performance reporting supporting curriculum quality and business growth
- Provide partnership and direction to the Digital team to aid development, maintain, and enhance business intelligence tools and dashboards that provide actionable insights for senior leaders and curriculum teams
- Implement data quality assurance and validation processes to secure funding compliance and audit readiness
Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be organised, have excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work to high levels of accuracy with attention to detail. They will have experience of managing data in a Further Education setting and a demonstrable knowledge of the FE funding environment. They will be able to work collaboratively across curriculum and support teams, understanding the needs of stakeholders and driving efficiency.
