An exciting opportunity within the Institute of Sport and Education as the Basketball Academy Coach has arisen. The post holder will lead the ISE Basketball Academy in the College Basketball League (CBL) and lead on the basketball performance programme. The Academy coach will be expected to promote a positive and high-performance culture in all things basketball as well as look to recruit talented players from within the Tees Valley area.
As the ISE Basketball Academy with Bede Sixth Form College you will be responsible for:
- The operational running of the programme
- Developing a high-performance programme
- Supporting the ISE Lead on recruitment
- Building relationships with teaching staff
The ideal candidate will be a relentless problem solver, hard working and passionate about developing student athletes. The candidate must have their Basketball England Level 2 award, Emergency First Aid in Sport and their Safeguarding Young People qualification.

Schedule: Term time only (with the exception of High Performance Camps). Training schedule includes Monday 4-5pm, Tuesday 10-11:30am, Wednesday full day due to CBL schedule and Friday 11:30am until 1pm.
