Sacred Heart High School, an exceptional 11–18 girls’ Catholic school in Hammersmith, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead and develop its whole-school IT infrastructure and digital strategy.
The Role
As IT Manager, you will take full responsibility for the school’s technology environment, ensuring secure, reliable and innovative systems that support teaching, learning and administration. Working closely with senior leaders, you will help shape and deliver a digital strategy aligned with the school’s vision and Catholic ethos.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the school’s ICT and digital strategy
- Manage all aspects of IT infrastructure, networks, servers and cloud systems (Microsoft 365 / Azure)
- Ensure cyber security, GDPR compliance, data integrity and disaster recovery
- Line manage and develop the IT support team
- Provide high-quality technical support and staff training
- Oversee IT budgets, procurement and supplier relationships
- Support safeguarding through effective systems and responsible data management
- Uphold and promote the Catholic values and mission of the school
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a confident IT leader with:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computer Science (Professional certifications such as MCSE, CCNA or Azure desirable)
- At least three years’ experience in IT management or a senior technical role (Education sector experience advantageous)
- Strong technical expertise across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, firewalls and backups
- Proven experience managing staff and delivering projects
- Excellent knowledge of cyber security and GDPR
- A collaborative, service‑focused approach and strong communication skills
- Alignment with the values of a Catholic education community
