IT Technician
Location: South Buckinghamshire
Salary: £28K neg Pro Rata
Contract: 1-2 months initially
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our school ICT team. You will provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the school's IT systems and classroom technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT support requests via ticket, email, and telephone.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printing, and network issues.
- Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, tablets, and other devices.
- Support both Microsoft 365 and Google Education user accounts, passwords, and access requests.
- Assist with classroom technology, interactive displays, and AV equipment.
- Install software updates and maintain IT equipment records.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff and students.
What We're Looking For:
- Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 of Google Chromebooks
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach with a willingness to learn.
- An enhanced DBS check, ideally on the update service.
