Are you currently a NQT / Student Teacher looking to expand your experience whilst you complete your teaching qualification? Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teachers to begin work in Newport and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately. Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, retain flexibility around their work, and sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement. Holding a valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work.
The successful candidate:
- Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
- Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
- Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training.
- Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum.
- Maintain necessary assessment of pupils.
- Be able to inspire and motivate pupils.
As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:
- A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £110 per day).
- A £125 recommend a friend scheme.
- A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs.
- No need for completion of time sheets.
- Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company.
