We are looking for someone with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting.
Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales.
Joining supply is also a great opportunity to get experience within different school settings to expand your Teaching Assistant experience at a flexible schedule you control.
Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview and I.D check in the office building, we are based in Newport city centre. Directions will be provided closer to date.

The successful candidate:
· Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment.
· Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
· Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
· Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
· Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
· Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
· Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.
We are a preferred supplier on the Welsh Government’s National Teacher Framework offering day-to-day and long-term positions throughout the school year. We offer a range of placements that can work around your schedule.
