Secondary Teacher Wanted for Newport
Education Supply Pool is a PAYE employer seeking Secondary Teachers on behalf of several comprehensive schools in Newport and surrounding areas. We are looking for passionate Secondary School Teachers who enjoy working with young people. These roles require enthusiasm, patience, and a diverse skill set. We seek candidates willing to step into this challenging role confidently, helping to develop and nurture students towards success.
Having a valid UK Driving License will increase your opportunities for work.

Successful Secondary School Teachers must:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE or a BA in Education
- Have UK teaching experience
- Hold the correct Education and Training qualifications
- Be able to set high standards
- Manage challenging behaviour and maintain discipline
- Plan innovative and creative lessons
- Liaise with staff to deliver the curriculum
We are a preferred supplier on the Welsh Government’s National Teacher Framework, offering day-to-day and long-term positions throughout the school year. Our placements can be tailored around your schedule.
