Responsibilities
- As a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), be keen to start your induction and complete your sessions whilst gaining valuable teaching experience in schools.
- Work with a variety of schools throughout the Newport area and surrounding boroughs including Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Blanau Gwent.
- Be prepared to teach in different settings to gain valuable teaching experience and lay a solid foundation for your career.
Qualifications
- Have obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR a PGCE BA in Education.
- Have previous experience teaching Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2.
- Have experience of teaching within the UK.
- Be able to set high standards.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
- Have an innovative and a creative approach to teaching.
- Be able to inspire and motivate pupils.
- Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum.
- Maintain necessary assessment of pupils.
- Be adaptable and reliable.
- Be a flexible and confident individual.

- A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently ÂŁ172.98 per day on approval to the new framework).
