Working 10am until 2:30pm, including a 30 minute break
£13.28 per hour

This role is based at King Edward VI Community College, a thriving secondary school based in Totnes, South Devon for which we are seeking an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work as part of a kitchen team.
What will you be doing
- You will be preparing and cooking meals, working on both cold deli and hot food preparation and service, preparing food to a standard set menu.
- Your customer centric approach will ensure that the customer experience is excellent, food service and presentation is of a high standard and that all students are catered for and treated with respect.
- You will from time to time be serving at the food counter or operating the tills.
- You will assist with receiving deliveries from suppliers, checking and stocking the dry and cold stores.
- You will assist with record keeping and the maintenance of kitchen records.
- Training and support will be provided but experience of working in a catering role is essential.
