Overview: Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within mainstream primary schools and specialist provisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
  • Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies
  • Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Promote inclusion and pupil wellbeing
  • Record and monitor pupil progress

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3 months' SEND or school-based experience
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable
  • Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Relevant TA or SEND qualifications desirable
