The Role: As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experiences of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include: * Covering whole classes for short-term absences of teachers, ensuring continuity of learning. * Delivering planned lessons and activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes. * Supporting pupils with their learning, both academically and socially, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs. * Assisting with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers. * Preparing and resourcing learning materials and maintaining a stimulating classroom environment. * Collaborating effectively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies. * Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a nurturing atmosphere. * Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities. We are looking for someone who: * Holds the HLTA qualification or equivalent. * Has proven experience of working in a primary school setting. * Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils. * Possesses a strong understanding of the primary curriculum. * Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. * Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
