About the Role
As the PA to the Principal, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school’s leadership team. This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires a highly organised and proactive individual with previous experience in a similar position, ideally within a school environment.
- Contract Length: 4-6 months (long-term placement)
- Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (flexibility required, with potential to work until 6:00pm once a week)
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-level administrative support to the Principal
- Managing the Principal’s diary, scheduling meetings and appointments
- Minute-taking during key meetings
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Liaising with staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders
- Supporting with event coordination and school communications
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a PA (school experience highly desirable)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Publisher
- A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to adapt to the needs of the Principal
