Education Personnel are delighted to be recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of one of our specialist education partners. This opportunity is based within a supportive, rural school setting where children and young people with complex needs are encouraged to thrive through consistency, creativity, and meaningful, personalised support.

Your contribution: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping pupils access their learning and develop confidence in their own abilities. Your patience, adaptability, and understanding will make a genuine difference every day.
Desirables and Expectations:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary, specialist, or alternative setting (desirable)
- Confidence working 1:1 or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions
- Understanding of approaches for supporting autism, communication differences, sensory needs, and social-emotional development
- Strong communication skills for building effective relationships with colleagues, families, and external agencies
