Overview: Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected Secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated Computer Science Teacher for a full-time position, starting April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Computer Science educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS3-KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Key stage 3 and 4 curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and assess KS3/4 lessons in line with school policies
  • Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
  • Contribute to department improvement planning KS3/4
  • Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS/or equivalent
  • Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching Key stage 3 and 4 experience in a UK secondary school setting
  • Is passionate about primary education and student achievement
  • Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life
