Company Description

We are EPM. We are far from your average service provider. Our colleagues bring their brilliant selves to work every day and we create an environment where they can shine. We don\’t do office politics or “that\’s not my job”. We listen, support and take ownership.

We have been proudly delivering valuable services to schools across the UK for over 30 years. We are passionate about service and we\’re on a mission to revolutionise our colleague\’s and client\’s experience by employing brilliant people who are experts at what they do and smile whilst they are doing it.

Position

We\’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team.

As an Account Manager, you\’ll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our valued customers, ranging from individual, influential schools to large Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) of 40+ schools. You\’ll act as their main point of contact, ensuring their needs are met, identifying opportunities to add value, and confidently upselling where appropriate.

You will build strong, long-term relationships and position yourself as a trusted adviser to your clients. This will involve gathering feedback, holding regular review meetings, and gaining a deep understanding of each organisation\’s strategic priorities, challenges, and growth plans. You\’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers maximise the value of EPM\’s services while also identifying ways we can further support them.

You\’ll work closely with internal teams including New Business and Service Delivery to ensure a seamless customer experience and to share insights that help shape future offerings. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied portfolio will be key, as will a commercial mindset and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven role, enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and wants to make a real impact within the education sector.

Internal Team and Broader Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in regular team meetings as appropriate and training to keep up-to-date with current legislation, policies and procedures and other relevant guidance.
  • Monitor available data, client feedback, proactively addressing any customer service concerns, escalating to a senior colleague where appropriate.
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity at all times.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service in all areas of the organisation.
  • Promote EPM Ltd whenever possible, seeing opportunities for new business.
  • Proactively seek new and innovative ways to work smarter, not harder, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organisation.

What can you expect in return?

  • Join the leading HR and Payroll provider in the education sector.
  • Benefit from a comprehensive induction program.
  • Enjoy a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Explore career development opportunities.
  • Good OTE and bonus package

  • Participate in the cycle to work and tech schemes.
  • Engage in tailored learning and development programs.
