We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Secondary School Design & Technology Teacher who is also confident in providing General Cover, to join one of our partner secondary schools in Weston‑Super‑Mare, North Somerset. This is a full‑time position, working five days per week, starting ASAP. The role is initially offered as a long‑term temporary placement running until Easter, with a strong possibility of extension through to the end of the academic year for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the school’s Design & Technology provision.
- Deliver General Cover where required.
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons.
- Follow school policies.
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
- Proven track record of working in secondary schools.
- DBS on the Update Service (preferred).
- Background or qualification in Food Technology welcomed (not essential).
Recruitment Process
