We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Secondary School Maths Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Wellington, South Somerset. The role is temporary until the Easter break, with a strong likelihood of extension to the end of the year for the right candidate. The role is Full-Time, 5 days per week but part-time hours would also be considered.
This is a teaching position starting ASAP and running initially until Easter, with a strong likelihood of being extended for the remainder of the academic year. The school is open to considering part-time arrangements for the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking flexibility alongside a long-term placement.
The successful applicant will be a confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the secondary age range. You will be expected to maintain high standards of teaching and learning, demonstrate effective behaviour management, and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
